I play a lots of fps games and so ping matters. When i had got all my wire replaced to my home then since i used to get 30ms ping to Mumbai from my place and then suddenly it went to 60-150ms for weeks and used to change again and go back to 30ms always fluctuating . I never used to get to know that why is this happening nor i cared. I left playing bf1, bf3 and bf4 just cause of it.

recently while playing csgo at 60ms, my internet just went off for few seconds which doesn't happen now adays and then my ping dropped to hoping 17ms which i never belived could happen. Then it went off like same for few days and in same way the internet restarted and i got back to the old 60-90ms ping. Most intresting part is that my dsl lights didn't go off when this was happening. I really want to know how i can get back low pings. My line quality is good and i don't think that its causing problems.

Can changing ports do that? do they do it by themselves? i heard about it somewhere but have no idea.
happens same with my both routers.

its maby because of useing 2 different subnets and routing them differently in my case my isp(actfibernet) uses 2 sets of subnets 1 startes with 124 which pings google about 17 ms where as the ip which startes with 183.xxx which pings google about 49ms
i think this sollvs your dout about pings but i dont no why your fasing disconnections like that

I didn't get that. I think they changed my ports. I came up here cause internet now is totally mess..

My ping usually gets good when it rains which is abnormal.

i realised that you have bsnl broadband i used bsnl in the past and i must admit that when it rains bsnl pings or good and your correct they changed your port

you can not do any thing other than changeing to different isp iam stuck with one of the subnet with act which gives 49 ms to google i called act and asked about this in return they are asking what is ping? so i meen you can not do any thing

Well, last year i had tried contacting other isp and non other than bsnl has a wired line here.

I am having straight 85 ms to Singapore servers in bf4 while 120-180ms fluctuating in csgo.

then try to get a ftth connection from bsnl it loers the pings overall that only help i can give you
