Jio believes in offering the complete benefits to its customers. Any 2nd recharge which has been done earlier and will become active in future will have validity and benefits as per new construct. For e.g. if you have done an additional recharge of Rs. 309, then you will now get benefit of 56 days instead of earlier promised benefit of 28 days for each recharge. Similarly for 303 plan, you get benefit of 56 days instead of 28 days

i can also confirm what itzmynet is saying is true .. I had a chat sometime back with jio cc and the only thing i asked was i have query on new plans. he immediately checked my account (i have done multiple 303 recharges) and he said the validity of each of those recharges will be 56 days and not 28 days.. So people who had recharged earlier also stand benefited by these new plans. Since I had done those recharges before 31st March 2017 he said I will be getting the 5 GB add on pack for each recharge as well (as per the earlier offer of buy one get one free offer) and the 5GB will have the same validity of 56 days.

Somewhere it was mentioned, that if you are not a Prime user, you have to do the ₹99 recharge and then recharge with your preferred pack

That means I was a part of the Summer Surprise offer, so I will get the benefits of 303 and 499 again, lol.

i have recharged with 499(2gb\day for 28 days) two times during SSO. will my plan expire on 15 july or 15 august. and now a new pan launched by jio of rs 509 (2gb\day for 56 days). i want to avail this plan of 509 as it is cheaper than rs499.if i recharge with 509 then will the rs 499 again be queue for upcoming months.

I am also a bit flabbergasted by this. I did a recharge of 99 (For Prime membership) and 2 recharges of Rs 499 (for 2 Gb/day data) prior to 15th of April, so I was on the SSO. I was under the assumption that once the SSO expired o 15th of July, then I will have 28+28 days of 2 Gb/day data for the 2 recharges I had done.

I have called the Jio CC 3 times after the news of recent plans and what the CC executives told me every time is the same. They said as per the SSO I had on my number, I was scheduled to get 84+28 = 112 days of 2 GB/day. So, according to them I am already scheduled to have this plan for 28 days starting from 16th of July and that is complimentary service for all SSO subscribers as per their chosen plan. After that, as per new plans and since I have already 2 499 recharges in queue, I would be getting 2 Gb/day data for 56+56 days starting from 13th of August (28 days past 15th July). What they seem to be suggesting is that Prime members who already recharged multiple times will get the same benefits and validity as the new plans (309 instead of earlier 303, 509 instead of earlier 499) with the increased validity because we opted for the prime membership and SSO offers prior to 15th of April, after the complimentary Jio SSO service of 112 (And not 84) days is over. (Which would be on the 12 th of August).

This has my mind boggled, but what can I say when I have received the same reply 3 times. What the Jio CC are saying is that the new higher validity for 309 and 509 recharges is applicable on earlier 303 and 499 recharges in queue. Also that the newer recharges are not one time plans but will continue till Apr 2018. (That is exactly what one of the CC executives said)

Am I getting this right or does any of you have a different take/information? I would be thankful if someone can clarify this.

absolutely right
Even the FAQ is updated on Jio

from 2nd recharge onwards all will get new plans.
I.e if one is already on SSO 1st recharge will expiry mid Aug(date varies from user to user)
any other recharge in Queue will have validity as per new construct

In your case one 499 will just give you validity of 28Days(this is part of SSO offer), 2nd recharge of 499 will give validity of 56 days

No, but the information he got from the cc is that after the 112 days on both his recharges, he will get 56+56 days. Even I got the same information, but i think, it's too early and even JIO cc guys are confused.

Read FAQ at Jio website...CC may be confused...But FAQ is clear

I am not disagreeing, but the confusing part about SSO users is the first recharge. Let's say, I have only recharged with 499, so I am supposed to get 2gb/day for 112 days till August.
But according to cc, I will get another 56 days for it again. I hope that clears your confusion.

why would any one buy the 999 plan? pay 500 more for only 6 day additional data over 399 plan

Yup. That is pretty much it. The confusion is over how long the initial SSO offer will last (84 or 112 days) and if the newer validity will work on the 2nd queued recharge or all recharges that you have done. With the Jio CC (Multiple operatives) all saying that only 1 recharge of 499 will give me 112 days of SSO + another 56 days beyond that, things become confusing, because even I realize that is not feasible. Also, they are implying that these new plans are going to be valid till Apr 2018 and not one-time but I am not sure if they actually are.

All JSO users should wait another 15 days before recharging, we already have validity till 15th August minimum so why panic? All speculations will come to rest within few days.
