Line maintenance charges?!

I got a call from Sify on Friday before they renewed my account. I was told that I will have to pay Rs. 100 extra in addition to Rs. 615 for unlimited package with shared speed. This after just a month of installation and one month ago I was told that Rs. 3000 is being charged for installation because it means lifetime free maintenance!I was at work and didn't have the energy to argue with a dense guy. What crap!!!! :angry:

My CTO's are good guy. They are alway responsive and kind to their customers. I Might be lucky.
Wait for another a month, if he does the same don't renew from him. Try to renew it via the sify mall. But you need either credit card or debit card. No cash on delivery. Because it is just a code. I think this will help You.
 
LOLu gotto be kidding me...They better dont ask that to me!i dont know what i will say but sinc a long time i had enough of SickFy so this would be too much
 
yeah, RENEW ONLINE. Even debit cards work. and yeah, sify guys know all about it and would not do anything.
 
Mine charges Rs 150 pm and my pack 64 kbps Family Pack is not available online
 

Nah it's 40 hrs pack valid for 2 months priced at Rs 800 plus service tax and service charges....It is unlimited (truly unlimited, no capping in terms of bandwidth or data transfer ) on Sundays and half rates at night and gives pretty consistent speeds of around 56-64 kbps.So I queue up anything I want to download and wait till sundayand I download hundreds of MBs on Sundays. 🙂 On Normal days I do regular surfing....
 
40hrs pack is to me not unlimited..If i buy such a pack, it would be wasted in...........40 hours from the moment i purchased itno point for me to get it
 
What do I get when I renew online? Some code? Where do I get it? On my email or where??

You will get the code at the web page of sifymall itself i guess
 
no code.. just buy it.. your banking will appear.. username and p@$$word: confirm it and then its doneYour lovely rupees are now in hands of greedy sickfy and they are laughing their butts off and when ur account expires it will hop on your next waste-of-money-package
 
just remember to use a browser with popup blocking off. using the online shopping mall is a pain in the @$$ in itself. takes way too many steps.
