color scheme is more similar to Rs 10 note
things are insane. these newer notes have smaller width so they go well. but mixing with older currency creates a nuisance. they really should phase out older notes. do not demonetize them. just take them from the banks as they are deposited and issue newer notes. so that in a few years, the newer notes would form majority of the notes in circulations.
