I do a lot of grocery shopping on Amazon. Not fruits or vegetables but literally everything else. Amazon, Amazon Pantry and Amazon Now together offer majority of products used in a typical home. Flipkart missed the boat. Just a year ago, Bansal was mocking Amazon by saying that they do not consider sale of masala and daal as sale which is why Amazon's sales figures are deceptive and Flipkart has a much bigger lead. They are now realizing that they lose out on a very large market by not focusing on this segment and recent reports indicate that Flipkart would start offering groceries and stuff in the coming months. Should be fun.
