City: MumbaiPackage: 256 kbps (150 MB/ day & NU)Cost per month: Rs. 650 (with maintenance charge & service tax)Positive Points: very good speed (thanks to sify) & very good service & low downtime (thanks to my CTO)Negative Points: very bad plans (thanks to sify not yet 2 mbps!!) & maintenance charge (thanks to my CTO)

How did you get it for 650? In Navi Mumbai, we pay 814 for the same..

Taxes)Positive Points: Only Speed.Negative Points: Tariff, Lack of Technical Knowledge in the Sify Officials.The highest Sify can offer is 512 Kbps in the era of 8 Mbps. Yuck :wall:General View: Sify is outdated. I would never apply for it again nor advise anyone to. Go for BSNL, TATA or Airtel but not Sify. Its like using Dial-up compared to others' Speed & Tariff Plans.But now I have shifted to BSNL and I see a lot of difference.
 

NOW DAY'S MY INTERNET IS WORKING I HV 256 KBPS PLAN AND MY DOWNLOAD SPEED IS TO LOW IT'S 20 KBPS AND I AM PAYING 1200/- THEN WHY THE HACK YOUR INTERNET BECOME SLOW WILL U PLEASE MAKE IT FAST .. AND NOTICE'S THIS : IF MY INTERNET WILL DOWN THEN UR PAYMENT WILL COME LATE IF U WAN THE PAYMENT ON 1ST THE GIVE ME GOOD SERVICE NET SPEED FAST AND NET WILL NOT DOWN ANY TIME IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM AT YOUR PLACE AND U ARE GOING TO GO CLOSE MY INTERNET THEN JOIN MY INTERNET TO OTHER SERVER FOR THE MOMMENT TILL UR NET NOT FIXED AND TELL UR GUY WHO RUNING THE NET IN BANDRA CARTER ROAD THAT IF ANY PROBLEM IS THERE ALSO THEN TELL THEM THAT FOR THE MOMMENT PUSH MY INTERNET IN OTHER SERVER AND NEVER BEEN DOWN DID U UNDERSTAND NOW .... IF U GIVE ME GOOD SERVER THEN I TELL ALL OF 1 THAT TAKE THE SIFY CONNECTION IF UR NET IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY THEN WHY SHOULD THEY TAKE THE SIFY ..... FROM 4 DAYS IT'S GIVING ME PROBLEM AGAIN MY INTERNET GOES OFF AT 2 OR 2 AM AND COME BACK AT 11 OR 12 AM .. IF LIKE THIS HAPPENED THEN I NEED TO CLOSE MY SHOP OR NEED TO TAKE OTHERS NET .... PLZ DO SOME THING U ARE IN INDIA AND U ARE INDIAN THEN MAKE INDIAN SIFY IN TOP AND SHOW THEM THAT INDIA NO 1 NET IS : SIFY BROADBAND... THANK YOU ....

city: uttarakhandpackage: 1175+100(plan+maintenance charge)plan: 384kbps day 512kbps nightnegatives: hi everyone plz dont buy sify broadband at all. even the browser page is not opening rt. now. the server box cost me rs.2500. thank god i havent purchased their router for additional 2500 bucks. positives: dont expect any positives from them. plz dont but it all.general view: sify bb totally sucks.
