Samsung announces Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro for the Indian market

The Galaxy J7 Pro features a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with the same 2.5D curved glass protection that comes with the Galaxy J7 Max. There’s 13-megapixel front- and rear-facing cameras with f/1.9 and f/1.7 apertures, respectively. Similar to the J7 Max, the J7 Pro runs Android 7.0, but it uses a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor that’s paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot, a fingerprint reader, and a larger 3600 mAh battery. It supports full-fledged Samsung Pay, similar to higher end Galaxy A and Galaxy S smartphones. Users transacting through Samsung Pay would be eligible for a cashback of INR 800 (approx. $12.5)

The Galaxy J7 Max is priced at INR 17,990 (approx. $280), and will be available starting 20 June. The Galaxy J7 Pro, which is priced at INR 20,900 (approx. 325), will be available starting mid-July.
