Torrents Speed?

BitComet rules!!! 😀as far as speed is concerned, it's directly proportional to the factors like seeds/peers, their speeds, leechers (the hindi one), and also "health"...now don't ask me what is "health"... 😛

i use uTorrent .........an amazingly fast client with only 98kb in size....gives me all the functionality.....it rocks🙂i also use azuress coz it has a torrent server bultin....BTW...i m attaching uTorrent......xperience it urselves🙂View attachment 303

i am using a linux command line client. I generally get about 4-5KBps down and uploads can reach upto 7KBps. I have to slow the uploads so that I dont choke my downloads. Considering that I get 6-7KBps on my connection these speeds are quite good but nothing compared to 20-30KBps that you guys get!

Download speed depends on ur upload speed. Make sure ur upload speen is not very low as compared to ur download speed. Also make sure sure that u have a listen port activated and do not have a NAT error. I get download speeds betw 25-30 kbps and use bit comet and azureus.

i seem to be the only one using bit tornado almost everywhere i go 😛 ... and still loving it and still recommending it 😀 hehehebut then hey it maxes out my downloads everytime i download anything !! so well works out really well for me 😀

Dear Friends I am using a Mac OS 10.4 with my broadband connection. I am trying to use file sharing programs but the only software that is working is Limewire 🙁Do i have to make any changes in port settings ? Even Bit Torrent does not work although it runs properly on a dial up connection...Ed2k seems to work but does not download any data ? Is it because it is a basic version - any idea how to convert to a Pro version 🙂 Any idea how to get aMule to work ? I desperately need to download two files for my boss and would be grateful for any help - you can even mail me at above id @gmail.com... these files are on the edonkey network

your boss asked you to download something off p2p? 😱 Anyway, edonkey works fine if you have a high enough "rep". For that you need to share lotsa files and also allow transfers for a while before you get a good download speed yourself 😉

I get 30 KBps down and 22 KBps up at the same time. But its only at night. This is on a 256 connection. But I dont download anymore, I am out of the scene permanently -)

same here...don't download that often anymore...ISPs should think from this perspective and make the connections unlimited...most of the ppl will get over it within a month or so...it will help them increasing their subscriber base...

Wow...pacenet delivers speeds atleast!

>>Wow...pacenet delivers speeds atleast! That was true for private trackers where the number of seeds is a lot (because they had to maintain a 1:1 ratio for download vs upload)And the speed was there for 10 hours of the day. But as I said, that phase for me is over permanently whether things change or not -)
