Hathway Broadband in Gurgaon

Alright. So today found out that Hathway has launched in my area. The guy showed me plans on his phone. 25mbps unlimited for Rs. 800. Hathway website does not seem to list Gurgaon at all. And plans are pretty bad compared to this. He also said that TV package is 300 for SD and 450 for HD. He had no brochures or PDF file for me. Did not show much interest when I asked for details on channels included in these plans. With this kind of behavior, I am not sure how he expects to compete with Excitel Broadband in my sector. He did say that they are using optical fiber till consumer's premises which means that hardware costs would be significant.

Maybe he's confusing with cable. Check out if they have 150mbps 1tb like plans. 450 for hd(all?), is this good or bad?

nope. the screenshot of the plans he showed me was clearly for broadband. there were multiple plans and the cheapest was 800 25mbps unlimited. stupid idiot refused to mail me that file. i don't even know why he is laying down fiber around my sector if he is not even interested in providing brochure about the plans.

he did give me his address (a house in my sector. not even a commercial shop/office). i would post more details if he drops a brochure at my place. as of now, i am just happy that his wire people did not cut my excitel cable 😛
