MTNL IPTV Delhi Review with pictures

Pardon my somewhat naive question. After taking IPTV the status->ADSL page shows my Downlink to be 3072 kbps and Uplink 1024 kbps. This I presume is a combined speed for broadband and IPTV is there any page where the 192.168. site shows the speed separately for the broadband (internet) connection. (This is just curiosity since I am on 590NU, which is a 256 kbps only there there is no fear on my part of loosing any speed).

i don't think there's any special site/place to check the seperate bandwidth of IPTV and broadband...

By the way to carry on with the original topic, IPTV review I think one of the coolest feature of IPTV is its movie on demand since unlike the DTH you dont need to choose from only a few movies that are on offer for that one week only, here all the movies are stored on the server and u can pull them out as and when you want...I think on the whole IPTV has far more potential than what it is being used for as yet, but to do anything meaningful they have to, first of all, stop being stingy with the bandwidth

yup completely agree .. iptv has lots of scope.. but it needs a very high level of dedication from the service provider to make it worthwhile..there are a lot of possibilities with iptv since it combines the power of internet with legacy television viewing... but like everything else there is a flipside to this .. the things that can go wrong are also many ... lots of things need to work 'exactly' as they should to make iptv work....

humm i got my IPTV ,working fine ,speed is same like before yup but screen little bit freeze at channel start

IPTV is available in all areas of Delhi . However the subscriber should be within 3 kms from the Exchange.

Subject to technical feasibility, IPTV is being offered only to the broadband subscribers of MTNL Delhi at present. For those opting for IPTV, broadband speed (both download & upload) will be restricted to 256Kbps only.

Hi..I recently got the IPTV connection (exactly 3 days back) and on the very first day at night, the connection simply stopped working. There is nothing on the TV screen, no error message nothing. Have complained so many times to MTNL with no response, and the Aksh guy who had installed also refuses to pick up the phone. Any idea why this is happening?
