Broadband speed 256 Kbps upto 2 Mbps
Free broadband usage 1 GB

As for as the billing aspect is concerned, the fixed monthly charge for landline will be Rs 99.00 and the fixed monthly charge for the broadband will be Rs 250.00. The installation charge is waived for the fixed line connection taken under the combo offer. However, the installation charge for the broadband connection will be applicable. The ARD for landline is to be collected upfront and the collection of ARD in installment will not be applicable under the combo plan.

i agree with you:thumbsup: i request bsnl to change the free usage timings from 2am-8 am to 10pm-6am...:wall: any bsnl officer here 😉 please forward this to bsnl:rofl:

Yes I also agree  free usage times should be from 10pm to 6am .

What is difference between Home 500 and Home 500 C+ (COMBO) except for the monthly charges ?

1.5 GB and 2.5 GB download limits i think
Hello,

Please note I have written Home 500 vs Home 500 C+(combo)
and not Home 500 C (combo)vs Home 500 C +(combo)

I basically feel Home 500 and Home 500 C+(Combo) are same if one opts for One India plan seperately along with Home 500 (Non combo).

Am I wrong ?

Damn, why MTNL does not give us something in Mumbai.............It feels so sad to be in Mumbai looking at those plans......... 🙁

Yes, it is not clear whether the old Home 500 plan is still in force: 2.5Gb limit, free 2am to 8am. Are the existing Home 500 planners should pay Rs 600/ monthly in order to have 2.5 Gb limit? Or is this for those who opt for Combo plan only where One India tel tariffs are applicable( with even local calls are at Rs. 1.00 per minute) I would rather have the old plan. Is this downgraded to 1.5Gb limit, with so called free calls? Any clarification?
As for this New Combo Offer, guys up there are "mixing up their drinks",playing one against the other, Internet-vs- tel.calls. For a increase in mothly rate to Rs600/ , fee calls remaining at 50, the down/up load limit should have been INCREASED to 4 to 5 Gb. Talk about internet penetration in India. This is a disticnt retrograde step.:madness:

old plan is still therethese two are only combo plans, and we need to submit a request to change to these plansall existing customers will be in their respective plans, unless they request to change

free calls...

@ sankalpit , you have to contact the commercial officer
at your local BSNL exchange to avail the new combo plan .

Thank you, seshu.

It seems like this will follow the standard procedure of application + copy of bill etc, and then paying whatever money they want to deposit. I'll move to one of these plans in future.

I gave a request to convert to H500C plan. As expected the guy told the plan is still not available in the system and i have to wait. Probably till 1st dec.. 😡

:wall: Huge data caps for intense broadband users, this is really a breakthrough from BSNL.

Data caps haven't changed now have they? We still have unlimited night downloading facility.

Now we will just spend a little less for the same phone+broadband service. A small upgrade, that will suit a specific segment of BSNL customers.

We have to get used to this kind of service until the government unbundles the last mile like Japan etc., and allows private players to compete. That is when we will have the real IT revolution.
