Interesting.
if my town had any other Authorized Service Station I would have bought this without delay, but current H.A.S.S.
is one BIG PILE OF SHIT, so I won't be buying it easily, they literally kick your A$$ after free service period.

Planning to buy the petrol version. Anything I should know? I want to avoid going to Team BHP and kill myself out of frustration with too much information.

Add me in this list as well..Would like to know the feedback from owners.
After disappointing test drive from Datsun .. Planning to give my Eon to Wife and buy Grand i10 for myself.
Grand i10 Magna (Petrol) is 5.5L on road in Bangalore.

I am mostly interested in performance related views. I have driven a diesel for the last 6 years (same engine on Swift and Linea). So I am not really used to driving a petrol car. While enjoyed driving the i10 around Gurgaon roads, I felt the lack of power. But then I might be driving it like a sedan expecting a turbo boost at low revs. So just curious that if anyone owns the 1.2L petrol version here, what do you think about the performance and AC of the car.

for petrol engine i would recommend to go for K series engine from maruti which is very peppy to drive and mileage is also best in the competition. Hyundai's are known for their costly after sale services....

And Maruti is known for making shitty quality cars where doors start to rattle within 6 months of usage (in a city like Gurgaon).

Which EON model (Dlite, Magna, Sportz) you have? and what is mileage of EON?

Have tried Brio too. Fantastic little car. But... Too pricey for what it offers and Honda sort of has always annoyed me. When they are doing well, they tend to become complacent. Service and spares is expensive. The dude who was with me during the test drive was busy on his smartphone instead of explaining the features to me or trying to sell the car to me.

hehe. i think the problem is bigger when you are switching to diesel from a petrol cars. my linea used to be painful to drive in city traffic. i10 was quite easy during the test drive. i look forward to a less painful experience once i get my i10 🙂

petrol cars are easy to handle, and have that "quick" response, that's what I feel, never had diesel car though.
have you test drove i20 petrol ????

ok, I though Linea was also expensive one so suggested i20
in GGN i20 Era 1.2, is Rs.5,16,490
