Open Source games for Windows!

I'm downloading FlightGear, Dark Oberon (looks cute), Nexuiz, Tremulous and UT3 demo.

In addition to free/opensource games there are also game demos such as Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3...

I've also downloaded the 2 CD ISOs of Command And Conquer (original Win95 version) which was recently made available for free download. You might have to get it from another site such as fileplanet.com EA Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars - News Nice fun.

i like this game called xmoto ... just a simple motocross bike and different rounds which you can play in any order.its installed with suse by default and is available in the ubuntu repositories
 
yup xmoto is in one of those lists i posted 🙂 havent tried it myself tho.if you're on windows and want to exercise your hardware, crysis and ut3 demos are available! wooo
 
have been downloading the crysis demo since 2 days. my slow damn airtel bb connection giving me 13-15 KBps. i have to go pay my airtel bills today. i might move on to 1999 package 😛
 
i came across another decent looking "comical FPS" game while browsing the links above: World of Padman

oh and i said "windows" but maybe crysis and ut3 demos are available for linux too? at least ut3 should be
 

finally downloaded and installed crysis. sucked on my system. uninstalled. just could get get 5 seconds of gameplay...
 
bioshock has that rootkit and activation controversy, but its calmed down i guess... tahts another good game i gotta try sometime... but cant right now on my crappy p4 2.4 ghz with 512mb ram and nvidia 7600gt/256mb 🙂
 
yup it ran very slowly on my pc so had to try it out at my friends pc who uses an ATi 512 MB graphics card ,thats why console gaming is much better , you dont have to worry about any requirements
 
wtf ut3demo installs .net 2.0 which i've been avoiding for a long time now... bah... at least now i can install paint.net too
