Alex and Jeff, colleagues in the office of a multinational firm, have also been best friends since high school. With their respective wives, they almost form a family, making their way through life, peacefully, gently, and without any great ambition. However, the arrival of Thibaut, a speaker and personnel development specialist, will soon play havoc with their quiet little lives. Thibaut is in fact a childhood friend of Alex. Back when they were kids, they were both highly uptight and always shunned in the school yard, and they vowed that they'd get ahead in life, no matter the cost.
