96 kbps pack capping?

Friends after a painful chat with customer care people i got confirmation that 96 kbps shared pack is capped at 18 kBps . Can any of our forum members also confirm this.
 
hey man, then what r u cribbing about???that's way more than u're supposed to get, 12 kBps... 🙂
 
Hey friends I want confirmation . What they said was 96 kbps pack capped at 18 kBps. 128 kbps pack capped at 24 kBps. I want to take that 96 kbps pack if some one who uses either of the two packs could cofirm the above stats. Pity in hyderabad we cant get 128 shared pack.Only 96 kbps pack is available.
 
Well as of now most of us r having 48 kbps pack capped at 12 KBpsPerhaps ihe is talking about new packs......may be 96 kbps pack is capped at 18 KBPSAnybody tried the new packs yet??
 
Kumar even if this is true whats the prob then ? You are getting more than u expect...Any ways even i m in hyd ..where do u live excatly ? if possible mail me coz PM doesnt work here

Well dear i am using 64kbps shared plan and i still manage to get around 18-20KBps.
i am from mumbai.
anybody getting similar speed.
 
well iam from hyderabad.My pack is 48Kbps unlimited(ofcourse 200MB) (cots RS 450)but iam getting 12KBPS.which is a lot for me

maybe that sify customercare guy meant that 96 Kbps pack can go to max speed of 18 KB/s ( in case sify's server get some error which they usually get giving out good speeds to some ip's :lol: ) .. 18 KB/s is the roof but there is no floor to limit and ur speed can go down to 1-2 Kb/s tooo
 
kumar in simple words 96kbps plan shd not xceed speed mor than 96/8 12kBps ..u will get 18kBps...dude tak chill pill and go 4 it...and latter bash them if they go less
