Guys anyone received such email from BSNL

sometimes when i accidentally turn on radio while driving... there are so many ads of quick heal. even on tv i believe.
 
I tried quick heal 4-5 years ago it is a shitty av

good paid av like kaspersky, eset cost Rs 600-700 per year and its worth it. You can take safety precautions but sometimes even trusted sites could get infected

for free av solution malware bytes is best
 
Amazon has regular deals on branded antivirus software. it is cheaper to buy local than online from their official stores. microsoft office also gets quite cheap on a regular basis. windows 10 pro was selling for 8500 few days ago.
 
I truly believe mcafee and kaspersky are very heavy on system resources.

Best bet would be to install Ublock on browsers + windows defender + malwarebytes anti malware + spybot search and destroy.

Last two mentioned software can be run once or twice a month for peace of mind + updating virus database

@Vedant got this mail today. This mail is so stupid. They are going to get people to end up with unconfigured routers.
 
it seems that they are now sending this mail on a monthly basis without any details on what kind of malware was detected and specifically how.
