Sis in law's iPhone 6 fell down and the display is broken. I have found there are following options...

1. Get a local display for around 4000-4500 bucks.
2. Get an official display (hopefully) through a local guy for around 6500.
3. Get Apple Store to replace it for around 13500 which would keep the phone for a week or more since the device would go to Bangalore for replacement.
4. Apple Store guy said that they can replace the phone with a new unit for around 24000. A new iPhone 6 sells for around Rs. 30,000 these days I believe so this also seems stupid for such an old model.
5. Sell the phone and get a new different phone. Local store told me that they can pay around 10,000 for iPhone 6 with broken display depending upon the condition.

I am guessing first option is pointless.
Second option is risky. Are these official replacement parts reliable? Is it safe to take this route?
Third and fourth option also seems stupid considering the phone is almost 4 years old now.
I am tempted with the fifth option depending upon the offer. One can invest 20K and get the OnePlus 3T. Is 10K good enough or low for an iPhone 6 with damaged display? Touch is working and the model is 64GB IIRC.

Suggestions. Recommendations?

Dont have suggestion

But if you get it repaired by local guy instead of Apple then make sure fingerprint sensors is paired.

As I think long back apple made few changes to their software which rendered phone useless if fingerprint sensor was not paired.

right. i remember reading about it. it's unlikely she would get it repaired from an unofficial source. i would be recommending to sell it and getting an android phone instead.
