how to register win XP

i think u call there support center and tell them some registration number that came with ur copy of windows xp.
 
i can't make an isd call to them ofcourse. :blink: isn't there an online site or something like that?
 
heh. the calls are ofcourse diverted to their call centers here in india. my friend used to work in that department. why not check with the guy who sold u the win xp cd 🙂
 
first, do u have a genuine windows xp???i think u must've, but still no harm in confirming 🙄
 

[ 🙁 🙂 :angry: 😉 don't noe how to reply to that question of urs!ya not original(this is INDIA!) but the key was verified by the microsoft tool which downloads to check if genuine or not.so i thought it's better to get registered b4 ....u must have read the papers(business line) it said micro.... is starting some project about counter-feit editions and would have to pay around 6k for winxp_profor updates,etc
 
well, they'll validate almost all the keys...coz u make pirated from the orignal only and use the same key...so doesn't really matter...hope u get what i'm trying to say 🙂
 
dude tell me u wanna register ur copy of windows or activate itboth are different thingsin activation if ur key is working and there is no reminder in the taskbar saying u to activate then its already activatedbut in registering windowsu send ur details to microsoftlike ur address, name , email add, phone, and other detailsso first make it clear what u wanna do

type this in run windowC:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /r to register windowsand C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a to activate windows
