Where When How????

they really should add landline to the description because sometimes landlines are not included 😀

I was using this in my fathers phone this included 1.25GB data which is not showing in ur offer.
This offer is not showing anymore after they introduced 1GB per day.
Best part you can 250MB extra if done from myairtel app and data is family share.

yup, this one is without any data. i am seeing this offer available on random valid numbers on Airtel.in

With all these offers being given to Airtel Prepaid users, does it even make any sense to stick to Airtel Postpaid? I was planning to shift to the 499 plan but I'll probably end up paying ~580 rs. as my monthly bill, whereas I can get these great packs for 349-400.

i have not seen a decent offer in many weeks now. back to usual stuff. though cheaper than before. so if you are a new customer or a mnp customer, you might get these deals for a while. for example... my mom has never used data package from airtel so her phone still show some good offers. but not my connection. trai was going to do something about customer specific plans. not sure when that would be implemented.

That's interesting. They're cherry picking their plans for certain customers. What would you suggest then? I'm planning to MNP from Vodafone to Airtel. Was thinking of going in for Postpaid, but after seeing these plans, I'm straight up saving Rs.250/month.

My usage is hardly ~4GB/month but I do make a lot of calls.

if your usage is limited, prepaid makes more sense. you can subscribe to packages as your requirement and not get stuck to a specific plan.

i mean even on prepaid, airtel still has the 349 plan that has unlimited calls and 1GB/Day. but validity is now 28 days.

Airtel has a lot of fine print with regard to its "unlimited" calls. That's why I went for Jio.

For the 349 pack - The stated limit is 300 minutes/day, 1200 minutes/week, 3000 minutes/month. Anything more than that, they start charging you.

The 28 days cycle and the FUP on the free minutes/day are I think a good enough trade off considering I'd be saving easily Rs.250/month. What I am concerned about is if they plan to stop these plans. That'd leave me with no option but to shift to Postpaid then.

jio is not going to disappear so it is unlikely that these plans would disappear. with time, jio would hopefully become more stable thus becoming a realistic choice for your primary number. in any case, you can migrate to postpaid or another operator after 3 months in any case.
