Hey, I have a Vodafone Postpaid Connection. Just like Airtel Broadband Retention, How can we take the retention benefits for Vodafone Postpaid Mobile Connection?

Please guide.

State: Delhi.
Mobile: iPhone 5S (Yes, I use 4G/3G as available in the area).

Thanks!

create mnp port. retention guy'll call u asking the reason to leave.
but in my experience voda is very stingy in giving away freebies . Airtel is better.

@igloo What is the process of MNP Port? If you could share a bit.

What do you use for Mobile, Which plan, Which type, Which provider and any additional way to have benefit from the provider you are using?

Below are the plans offers by Vodafone Chat Team lol.

In order to claim this you will have to redeem it on the Vodafone App in the amazing offers section. In case you donot have the App kindly download it from the Playstore / App store. In case you have the App installed ensure you update to the latest version of the App.

Based on your usage pattern, we recommend Vodafone RED 499 Plan for you. @Adidam Type Port<10 digit number.> and send it to 1900 and you will receive a code with validity of 15 days. after that visit the store of the operator where you want to port in. Fill up CAF and in case of Postpaid the dues should be cleared before porting out otherwise the current operator can deny the porting request.
In my opinion you should converting the number to prepaid would be the cheapest but a prepaid can be discontinued if there is No-usage for 90days.
Edited mistake

I think he mean "a prepaid can be discontinued if there is no usage for 90days."
I am using prepaid , ported to idea recently as they better 3G at my place. Not using this 34X recharge as my voice usage is not much. and for data i prefer wired like airtel BB. Also for jio wifi pocket router which i am not planning to use for now cz of coverage problem.

There is policy on prepaid numbers if you don't make any SMS,Call,Internet usage on prepaid SIM i.e. you keep it idle for 90 days, company terminates the number and it can be allotted to someone else.

Is there anyway to squeeze a better plan out of them, recently there were two retention plans 349 and 549. Both gave same benefits, only difference was the former gave 10gb data and the latter gave 20gb. Now both plans have been stopped recently, just few days ago.
I have already given a port out request, but it seems, they are in no mood to offer any of those two plans and are only asking me to stick with them for another 2-3 months and assured me, that in the meantime new and better plans will come out, which I don't believe at all. When I asked for these plans few days ago, they told me I have to wait for my bill cycle to end, which was going to in few days and on the last day of my bill cycle when I called them up to make a request, they said the plans had been removed.
What do you guys suggest I do, should I get in touch with Nodal or what are my options, please help.

Retention is much free and independent as compared to retention in terms of offers.

Main work of Nodal is handling complaints not sales.

Your best bet is keep trying it after some months.

The only reason, why I am thinking of contacting Nodal, because they promised to migrate my connection to a better plan at the end of my bill cycle. Which clearly never happened, when I asked them to take a request for a plan change, they didn't take it and instead asked me to wait and after waiting for 2-3 days, when I call them again and ask them to change the plan, they tell me it has been withdrawn.
So why shouldn't I contact Nodal, why this discrimination, am I not a Vodafone customer? They are offering a better plan to a certain group of customers, whereas we are not being offered the same plan.

By the way, I got the Vodafone Super 349 plan. The benefits I get with the plan are 10gb data, unlimited local+std and 100 sms for ₹349.

That's awesome, I'm planning to shift my plan to Airtel Prepaid. Current I'm on the 499 RED plan. One reason I don't want to stick with Vodafone is because Airtel recently installed a signal booster in my house after I complained about a weak signal, whereas Vodafone barely gets a signal too.

Thank you, but I had to fight for this plan, since it was withdrawn and took at least two weeks to get it. I was on the 499 plan myself, but this one is VFM.

Vodafone Postpaid is now offering a 399 retention plan, where I am getting unlimited calls, 100 sms and 1gb/day.
