IRC is built in Opera and it is as easy to use as a new browser tab! try it out... and no u cannot actually use opera as a P2P client through IRC though they did introduced Bittorrent in the latest preview release!

Second, there are no invites for a topsite irc channel, once you have access to a topsite ftp server .. you automatically can logon to the sites without putting any password even .. that is handled through bots and ident checking.
(i said about invitees for private, invite only channels and not for topsites.. i know the nickserv handled ident checking)

hey, you got it all wrong.. i rarely use irc for d/loading stuff... use it for chatting.. it is extremely low in resources and works fine on a dial-up... hey ppl even use p2p programmes on dial-up which just hog most of the resources of the machine... anyway, this is most probably my last post on this particular topic (yep someone will say that i have accepted defeat.. then so be it) 😉
