Vodafone 4G live in Chennai

Vodafone 4G went live today late afternoon and its pathetic even on the day one. Immediate speed test shows 5Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Although the latency seems decent with 25ms to the nearest server. Server 300Km apart has latency of 200+ms but the speed is constant 5Mbps.

Could it be vodafone throttling the speed for now?

I am getting about 15 to 20 Mbps up and down consistently.

maybe the launch day jitters, I think they will sort it out soon.

Don't expect more than 25 Mbps from Vodafone, horrible ping times here in Mumbai.

Received my Nexus 6P back from service yesterday and made a speedtest. It was 15Mbps down with good ping. I was told chennai was badly hit with the cyclone and they are still fixing issues and released 4G under pressure
