WoW. Hathway is too good now but then again they are not available in my area 🙁
I though ACT was the best but these new plans from Hathway puts everyone else to shame. Will talk to my cable operator again to check if we can get Hathway

Tested torrent download with ACT & Hathway, strangely hathway won the race, I kind of thought ACT was good. Same torrent downloaded with ACT 100Mbps & Hathway 150Mbps(but i get 100Mbps as my LAN supports 100Mbps max, need to upgrade) and found that ACT reaches 4.5 MBPS max whereas Hathway reaches 11.2 MBPS(stable).
Update : Connection is down for an hour and it doesn't look like an healthy start, however from what I heard the official launch of hathway in my location is 26/03/2017(SUNDAY), so until then these downtimes are obvious and that's how I convince myself😛

It depends on area to area
In my 35 days it has gone down 2 times and was fixed within 4hrs
I got the connection last month. Anyone recharged hathway through online? I am unable to see the Rs.999 + tax plan which I am currently subscribed to. Any help.
Isn't 4.5MB/s really slow for 100Mbps ?
You should get 12MB or atleast 10MB that will mean you are getting 80Mbps
And get ready to face a lot of downtime since they are starting new in your area
I have heard many stories about isps fucking up when they set up new locations for few weeks

Yes I that's what i said, ACT gives only 4.5MB/s whereas Hathway gives me 11MB/s, so Hathway works out fine for me in terms of speed.
Downtime resolved and the problem was the improper splicing. Now it works fine.

I get 7MBps on 60mbps plan from act (when using IDM)
I'm in Kolkata and they come home to collect their subscription charges from me every three months. They call beforehand as well. Try and avoid payments through their site, I've read horror reports about payments not getting registered etc. Ask them to send someone over to your place to collect and threaten to leave if they don't want to come. 😛
