Need advice for broadband service in kolkata

Hi,I am planning to take up an internet connection in South Kolkata, Garia.I would need unlimited download bcz i download a lot of media, everyday.I have called up the ISPs and here are their answers1. Reliance - doesnt provide service in South Kolkata. Asked me to try out their Wireless phone Internet service , which I think is pretty expensive.2. BSNL- Costs are lower, but there is no unlimited scheme.3. Sify - High charges for installation. This board says that connection is really poor. So I better avoid Sify.4. Tata Indicom/VSNL- Offers unlimited download. Dont know about the connection speed and service5. Local cable provider- Charges 1400 for installation ( Need to have your own network card). 765 per month for unlimited connection. speed is awful.Can somebody please suggest?Thanks in advance. 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

Thanks for the replies.Can someone please help me compare between Direct Internet Access Services (DIAS) (2 GB transfer )from BSNL and Tata Indicom/VSNL 64 kbps unlimited? :huh:
 
I live near Garia, I use BSNL, it's night unlimited works good. Speed minimum 20 kbps.But As you know BSNL cust. service is not that good. So I am too looking for a alternative Broadband service provider. I hv no idea but.. does the Tata Sky, Dish TV or other stateline TV service providers offer Broadband service..? You can check for it..Good luck..:thumb:
