may be they calculated channels that come in multiple languages. just my guess
 
ok if they think SS Music is Kannada Channel, total 8 kannada channels broadcasting.

where is two channels?

they also will calcuate Radio channels. and also Cartoon channels.. so check it again. I am not sure if there is cartoon channel in kannada
 
Yes that's right Cartoon channels having kannada feed and all radio channels are also included in that....and above all they are not saying 10 specific kannada channels they kannada package includes 10 channels.
 
Cartoon channel dosent have kannada audio feed
 

Yeah... Cartoon channels do not have audio feed.. So I guess, it must be FM RAINBOW 'BLR and another FM channel besides SS Music.

nspite of many request from karnataka to add new channels. looks like dishtv is in comfort zone. it needs to realise that unless you are customer centric, you will ocntinue to lose market share.
many kannada channels not provided by dishtv
This is grave injustice to Karnataka viewers from dishtv that you are not serious in updating and adding new channels to Karnataka dishtv subscribers.
Even a new player like videcond2h,Tata Sky,airtel have the following 3 channels.
1)Public TV
2)Samaya 24x7
3)Janashri NEWS
4)Chintu TV
Please give positive response at the earliast. i believe your southern teams especially from Bangalore are not updating you regarding the same. This does not seem fair and hope you address this pro-actively in a timely manner. i believe dishtv can rectify this anamoly. videocond2h gives 18 kannada channles unlike dishtv.
