MTNL Triband Broadband: <Help needed> Pages not opening despite net connected.

Hey, could you give us the ip's he pinged on?We're facing alot of problems here in Delhi, I can't connect to MSN, and 3 of my friends are facing the same problem, other two cant even open any site properly.It would be of great help..no clue whats up with MTNL
 
seems ur local server is down/upgrading or something like that...just wait for few (or more) hrs and see if it's fine...even i had this problem long time back, and it took almost half a day to fix this issue...

few hours!!!!! Its been going on since the past 2 weeks.
I have heard of servers taking a day or two for upgradation but this is total baseless..
just cant figure out the problem.
 
I'm facing this problem from past few weeks but dint get time to post it on the forum. I've actually configured my Router in Bridged mode & I use Windows Dialer to connect to net. Initially everything was working nicely from past 1 year or so & then suddenly MTNL DNS Servers assigned by MTNL DHCP gave some problems. So I configured my Windows Dialer for Reliance DNS Servers 202.138.96.2 & 202.138.103.100. This setting was also working fine upto Sep'07 end & after tht suddenly I find tht even after getting connected to the net I am unable to browse any pages. I now find tht in their DHCP settings they hv configured 4 DNS Servers which in most of the times gives Request Time Out error when v use the NSLOOKUP command. After 4-5 reconnection attempts things work fine. I've still been unable to find a permanent fix to this problem & can't even report it to the Sarkari Helpdesk coz they only ask 1 question "Aapke screen pe kya PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED aaraha hai?". They don't even know abt these Bridged mode funda. Well...I'm still working on this 🙂
 
this problem happened today to me. from abt 10:30 to 1:30 it was connecting but no sites were opening or even pinging.earlier d/c and r/c 2-3 times wud solve problem but this time i kept doing d/c, check and r/c but nothing happened for 3hrs. finally now it has worked.even friend in kandivli faced same problem. so god knows when will they solve this problem.
 

Same problem again last 2 days...........charkop exchangeAnd now it will not ping any server even after 5 mins.Now I'm lucky if it starts to let me surf after 10 minsTried all DNS possible........MTNL servers,OpenDNS,4.2.2.1.Treewalk DNS........everything I could think of
 
Guess Alcatel server has really been sh!TTY this time..
I called up those CC ppl n they told me that till Bhyander the server is having problems, dont know what problem but said it will be restored in 30 mins.
Its been 5 hrs since i called them up yet so sign of my net being restored.
btw i am uploading a screenie which i got from browsing my adsl, quite shocking but i guess no one has answer for this one.

well at least they agreed that something at MTNL is having problems,when ever I called many moons ago,they said"everything at MTNL is fine,I'm registering a complaint,here is ur docket number"
