THIS MY BSNL DATAONE BILL FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE 1- 30.I AM NOT IN HYDERABAD FROM JUNE 10-JUNE30.SO THIS IS ABILL FOR 10 DAYS
.I GENERALLY GET A BILL FOR THE AMOUNT AROUND 1000.LANDLINE500+DATAONE500.
I AM NOT GOING TO PAY THE AMOUNT.THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECT ME.

Dont pay the bill @ any cost

Generally if you don't pay they'll first disconnect. Then they'll start calling you to pay up. Finally they'll start harassing you by sending legal letters and all. BSNL Sucks!

what exactly is wrong with the bill?

If u have decided not to pay the bill, then suck as much as u can.....but be prepared for legal notices

Is any body sure about the legal notices. Does this mean this people drag us to court? And by the ways nv_krishna r u u sure the amount mentioned in the bill is for data one or is that for call charges?

Where will you pay the bill for dataone connection? Is it at post offices like ordinary phone bill?I came to know that the billing cycle is bimonthly. Is it so?

it is definitely from dataone.because,i rarely used my landline to do phone calls.maybe land phone bill is around rs400.how much time,they will take to send legal notice.does anyone ever received legal notices from bsnl for nonpayments?i amgenerally pay my bill either through HDFC or ESEVA.IN HYDERABAD,IT IS MONTHLY BILLING CYCLE.

i saw my bill over the internet & mine was Rs 753 from 7/6/05 to 7/7/05

don't they give you detailed billing over there.. here i receive a detailed bill which shows how much i have been billed for the voice calls and how much for the dataone usage. about 7 months back i did not pay the bill of my other landline, because instead of getting an average of roughly rs.700/- i was billed for rs.14,000/- i did not pay the bill and used to keep on receiving a monthly bill for the rental... then i received a letter from them that they would have to resort to legal proceedings... i told them to look into the photocopies of my previous bills which never exceeded rs.800/- since the connection was established (in 1993). after that i've neither received any more monthly rental bills or any more notices. strongly recommend that you put your protest in writing and get a copy signed and sealed by the aotr of your exchange... best of luck... pupudada!

but first answer this...have u not gone overboard and downloaded just too much stuff after ur 1 GB quota is over???if the answer is yes, then nothing would work, coz u've already used it and u have to pay it!!! 🙂in dada's case, it was just wrong billing...i wonder if it's the same with u 🙄

One more thing krishna that just struck my mind. Did you pay the demand note of Rs 1761 till now? If no then that was supposed to be inlcuded in the latest bill hence the u get that figure. Another case would be that these guys put the modem on outrigt pruchase and add amount of 2k to ur bill. So this might be the case here. ANy ways when ur bill arrives it will be mentioned what stands for what..Till then wait and give us ur f/b later

I am not sure but this cud have possibly happened with u that the time they installed the Dataone they have to replace the old meter sometimes in certain exchanges. If this is the case with u then the difference between the old meter closing when thry took it off and the new meter which was put ( need not be set to 0000 ) is what will reflect as excess use though u may not have actually used it.

And besides that u can always ask for a duplicate bill citing that the earlier 6 bills average was lower and they shall immediately give a lower bill for the time being and investigate the case.
