well in that case I am clueless as to what is wrong with tripleplay services then.

Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test this is what i get with NY server. My plan is of 10mbps though, so I am getting half of the promised speeds.

I did ask tripleplay that , and they said the speeds will be half for international usage, but isn't TRIA has said that no matter whta , subscriber should get atleast 80% of the promised speeds? or is that just applies for domestic traffic?

Lucky for you..... good for 10 Mbps....

on browser, it's quite bad too, facebook giving me DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG error.

twitter opens though. quite terrible DNS.

I talked to the datacenter guy and he gave me a text today saying "I Have included Senior Huawei team for this issue of DND drop as it goes off completely many times and i will update you regarding this once done"

Let's see/

EDIT : I take it back, the dns you gave me doesn't work at all for me.

well i tried with the server you tried and this is the result.

i don't know how but the service is great from last 4 hrs. no probs at all with either ping or slow websites or anything really.

So got a message from the datacenter guy, and he told me the Huawei team work is finished and dns issues is resolved. To be honest I am using the internet from the morning and have faced 0 issues. all devices (4 connected) to myrouter and no issues or lag or slow. Online gaming is a breeze on my ps4 and on my iPhone too, loving it now! I hope it continues to stay like this 😀 I might be upgrading my plan to may be 50mbps soon if the service continues to be the same 😀 And now I am sure this was not TATA/VSNL issue, this was the issue with their DNS atleast for me. @ijsa I am using these DNS for my area : 103.21.187.18 103.21.187.19 , try your luck. Let me know the results, or before terminating the connection, do email (don't call) their customer care and their CEO/GM , they will definitely take you seriously and will fix your issue in priority.

Speeds on speedtest is constant ofcourse for domestic traffic, for international too I am getting promised speeds of 10Mbps (As of my plan)

Ping for domestic servers are b/w 2 to 10 ms ad for international it is 200ms to 240ms (which I guess is good for online gaming?)

in fast.net I am getting 6.2Mbps to 4.2Mbps with average 5.5 Mbps speeds which I am very much okay with I guess.

What plan are you on.... speed & price

Now I have to choose between Excitel & Triple Play....

Excitel is zippy.... Triple play slow & stable...

Triple Play Connection becomes unstable in the evening & on more than 1 user...

Triple Play does not have a CC.... at least for the people in Delhi..... was asked to talk to my LCO..... a representative from Triple Play did come after many complaints but could not solve the issue...

Am getting 10Mbps on 50Mbps plan on international servers on Speedtest on Triple Play.......

If Excitel resolves the packet loss issue.... I would move to Excitel...

@ijsa call a guy, he is from datacentre, as the customer care u call, they don't take ur concern to head office, I am sure he will help, pm me , will provide u the number if you want.

some time ago my LCO was telling.... 5Mbps U/L + 2 STB(450 HD channels) + unlimited call something around 800Rs...

I was waiting for the excitel wiring guy to move to them before applying ?

Was chatting with CC on Triple Play site....... instead of confirming me the existence of such a plan, he took it as a request for new connection.......

When the sales rep. from my area called, he denied existence of any such plan.....

So basically, it seems to be a click bait..... as their website does not list any such plan.
