Airtel Broadband 16 mbps - Mumbai

Hi,

I would like to know what is the expected download transfer rate for a 16Mbps (VDSL2) line.

I get around 1.8-1.9 mb/sec and few time touches 2.0 and comes down very fast. The transfer rate is not quite stable enough and keeps fluctuating. The torrent speeds seem to be capped except the public ones (Downloaded Ubuntu - 1900 KB/sec didn't touch the 2000 mark) Is this kinda of a normal with Airtel ?

I would like to know your inputs on my connection. How good is my connection ?

The connection seems good with a good ping time. You can only expect max 2MBps download speed ( 1MB = 8Mb ). Your download and upload line rates are really good as well.
