New Airtel Broadband plans in Bangalore

Hi friends, I am on airtel's rs 1349, 16Mbps, 80 GB FUP plan currently along with 10GB top up. I am a very old customer of airtel. Got a call today saying that airtel is starting fiber optic connections. The plan suggested to me was rs 1799 40 Mbps speed 125Gb fup. The modem would have to be replaced for which they are charging rs 1000 which would be adjusted as rs 200 extra for 5 months. I was in two minds whether to take it. Then in the evening I got a call saying that they ready to offer me 20gb for rs 100extra, 50 gb for rs.200 extra and 75gb for rs 300 extra everything else remains the same. Don't know whether to go for these offers. Airtel it seems like are going to change their plans soon. Competition I guess. But since my budget is max 1500 have not decided what to do as yet. What say you? But is is fair that new customers get 3 months unlimited while old customers don't? can one disconnect and then take a new connection again to avail the 3 months unlimited offer.

@gabruputt The new customers thing is total crap, they have started it in Chennai till now i never heard from anyone saying they got the new connection and the 3 months unlimited offer. Be happy with your current one and wait for few more months more will come to you.

@Dummy what do you think about the offers they are giving me ? Any good? I am sure it is a matter of time before the news plans are displayed on their website,

@gabruputt Plans, that depends upon your usage buddy. If you want more speed and limit you can go for it and if you can afford. I don't use Airtel so can't comment about more about it.

Yes, Choose for your usage need....Airtel has no problem in changing to another plan as long as its available.
