🙁 hi to all i am a subscriber of asianet cable, kerala ..broadband service..the average Kb/ speed is just 4 to 6 / sec...!!!!! anyone else willing to share info in this regard... thanks & regards , broadband?

Hi, I am starting this thread , to share the thoughts/feedbacks of all Asianet Data Line - ADL users in Kerala.

Please post your Asianet Dataline connection speed. I got constant download speed :thumbsup🙁Wow 199 Plan). But upload speed is pathetic :wall🙁only 30kbps to 60kbps). Anyone got better upload speed?

i am a subsriber to asianet data line. this ISP offers speed upto 2mbps. i got a 199 plan one year back. they says this connection is of 2mbps. but it is slower than dial up. they want customers to upgrade to other plans, i think. they offer good speed, and provide a slow one. there is no much competition for them. but bsnl is the credible ISP in kerala.

I am using Wow 199 Plan. I got higher download speeds. But upload speeds lower than 64 KBPS. My connection speeds are almost constant in all times. Please check your connection speed using Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

Disher, I am having 64 kbps unlimited - 399/- plan. I am only getting around 32 kbps download and 38 kbps upload speed. And its down once or twice a week.Yesterday I badly wanted the connection for some urgent work and it was down till late. Seriously thinking of migrating to BSNL. 🙁

ItsMe, You are using a lowest speed plan. So you get slow speeds. But in my case I am using a high speed plan. ADL tells the speed is 2 MBPS. But they don't tell about the upload speed. I got faster download speeds. But upload speed never reaching 64 KBPS. It takes 1 hour to upload 10 MB. Because I am not satisfied with this. An other wonderful thing is ADL slowdown in off-peak hours and it offers high speed in peak hours. In my goodness, there is no downtime in my ADL till date.

Good News for Asianet Dataline Users.........

They increase the upload speed from 64kbps to 128kbps in Data Transfer plans.:yahoo::thumbsup::yahoo:

in kolkata we are getting 640kbps unlimited for Rs.1399🙂
