i dont get even 2g speed on their so call 4g network . Their jiotv and jio cinema works fine and so youtube . No other website opens . 4GB is FUP ? i cant even consume 40mb
 
I notice internet getting stuck too.

In "data" icon - I see "up" arrow glowing (i.e. my mobile sending request)

But I dont see "down" arrow glowing (i.e. no reply coming from JIO network)

Then I have to disable and re-enable data and all starts working again.
 
Today it seems fine. Was getting 1MB/s (8mbps) even in afternoon.
 

Got some rumors that jio is upgading to LTE+ network than's why there was and would be some network issues but it makes me wonder that why they don't bother to inform us?
 
Carrier Aggregation would take time,but they should do it now otherwise after launch its going to be a pain in the a$$,unless they extend the preview offer 😛
 
well there are reports that it could extend till march. someone posted a thread but copy pasted the entire article so i had to delete it.
 
They clarified that "Welcome offer" will end on 3rd December. But those who already took welcome offer will get things free till 31st December.

i.e. those who get JIO SIM after 3rd Dec will not get "Welcome offer" (but they hinted that they will get some new offer)
 
How do i check if i have welcome offer enalbed, i cant even login to myjio app because i dont have incoming sms to verify a/c,
 
You can check online on www.jio.com

Login with ur credentials and it should be done.

PS: In anycase - there is no other offer / plan other than Welcome offer - hence it has to be welcome offer.
 
Welcome offer benefits will continue until March 2017.
Those who subscribe after 3rd Dec 2016 will get the same offer with some other name with same benefits until March 2017.
 
Hahaha! JIO says take that to all other companies!!!

Other companies complained TRAI that JIO prices are predatory!

So JIO gets TRAI to officially write to them that prices are not predatory!

Loophole they used here is that -

Rule says - "offer period can not last more than 3 months"

Rule does not say anything about validity of the "prices" of the offer given.

So they have not extended validity of the "prices" (which is zero rs)

And "offering the offer will closed by Dec 3"
