Gurgaon Driving License Renewal help needed!

The license issued from Delhi, but has lived in Gurgaon for a long time & has proofs at the Gurgaon address.

License expires in Nov.

Can anyone help? What's the procedure & how long does it take?

Yeah saw that.

I hoped that someone here had used it before, or had renewed a license issued from another state. Some NOCs are required....
 
In hyd, you pay 700rs and you'll get your license renewed in one week time. Source: my dad got it done few months back.

I expect brokers are available near delhi rto as well

why not get it done in delhi itself? changing states requires some additional docs
 
Ask him to get it renewed in Delhi. Changing address and NOC thing is very hectic. I myself took NOC from one district to another in UP and the entire procedure took more than 50days.
Process was as below:
  • First get NOC from issuing authority
  • Visit the new RTO
  • Fill up the form and get it signed from 3-4officers(consider yourself lucky enough if you could found all of them on a single day)
  • Now even if you got NOC they will send your DL physically to issuing authority to verify it(God knows what the hell NOC was issued for,if physical verification was to be done)
  • You will be issued a temporary DL for validity of 45days(to the best of my knowledge).
  • After 45 days revisit RTO fill up some forms and get bio-metrics captured.
  • Wait till new DL arrives at your address.
It was the process for getting NOC and get address changed in UP, UP is one of the most backward states in terms of implementation of technology.Proceess could be smoother in Haryana and Delhi.
 
If I were to get it renewed at the old address, that would require ID & address proofs at the old (Delhi) address. All ID/Address proofs have been shifted over the years to the Gurgaon address, so I won't be able to.
And it's logical to get this shifted too (being the last item left)

@Saurabh Srivastava is there any format of this NOC? Any samples?

I hope Delhi>Gurgaon shouldn't be a big issue.
 

@kkapoorr there is no format for NOC for DL, my NOC was kind of official letter from issuing RTO to new RTO that they don't have any objection for renewal/change of address.
I have lost copy of NOC otherwise I would have uploaded it. Delhi>Guragao should not be any issue if the person sitting on counter doesn't raise one.

How much did they take for the NOC specifically? Or did they increase the overall renewal charges?
 
I asked my uncle to get NOC for me as the place was 30-40KM away so no idea about the fee of NOC but to change the address I had to the pay fee of Rs. 40. Renewal fee was around 200-250. check RTO website of Haryana fee structure must be mentioned there.

Doesn't the doctor sit in mini secretariat itself? Or will I have to approach another?

And how do I find a list of those doctors whose certificates are valid for this?
 
Generally all valid MBBS degree holders are registered doctors. I did not understand about mini secretariat(concept of mini secretariat is not applicable in UP). I would suggest you to visit RTO office one day before to get all the required forms and do an inquiry about medical fitness certificate,though forms are available online but they may raise questions on it.
My father chose to get his fitness certificate done by government hospital.
 
great. my current license was issued in faridabad and i am currently in gurgaon. so i guess i would need to find someone connected in faridabad to get me a noc letter when my license comes up for renewal.
