Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

Both Excitel and ABS are fucked up right now. Sunday afternoon. I guess it's expected.
 
Excitel has gone worse this weekend. Random drops , high pings and packet loss. It's a nightmare to rely on shitcel for officework.
 
Yup. The packet loss is fun to watch. Good thing I am not streaming the show I am watching right now.
 
could be your lco guys, cause for me its actually quite stable except that 3% packet loss, speeds remain same through out the day, doesn't matter its a sunday or peek hours or anything.
 
Given the shitty packet loss with almost every ISP, I am amazed how good the foundation of Airtel is. Like it never goes down and 0% packet loss always. Given, their copper wires are at least 10 years old in my area, it's even more impressive.
 
I remember facing massive packet loss on Airtel too at times when I was using them as primary connection. But yes, it's still impressive how reliable it is. But for me it is painfully useless because connection becomes useless if I try to load anything.
 

If max Vfiber speed in your area is 16mbps, then i doubt upload issue will go for you. Upload speed for 16mbps d/l i s 2mbps
 
Sigh. Should be better than adsl in any case. It has become mostly useless. Even Reliance Broadband was not this bad. Uploaded 250GB on Google Drive on it without noticing any degradation in browsing performance.
 
Upgradation is free, so you should at least go for it. Any particular reason you haven't upgraded yet?
 
Excitel seems to be working quite good right now. 2-3% packet loss.
And just an unrelated question that whenever i use excitel's dns , i get good speeds but notificationsare delayed.
Any help regarding this?
