Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

I thought that the page which was shown to me months ago was dynamic but then as others pointed out it was just a static "welcome to excited fiber" page. I did contact my lco he told me that it will take a 2-3 months.

Okay. Do let me know what are your experience for today and tomorrow (with and without rain)?

Sure.
From the past two days whenever it rained heavily I had the issue of download speed being low (usually in the range of 5-10 Mbps). Whereas upload speeds were fine. The strange thing is upload speed never seems to be affected even when testing against international speedtest servers. During rain packet loss was there but it was pretty low about 1-2% max. This too was not consistent (Most of the time there was no packet loss at all).
The problem is usually fixed within a few hours after rain stops/reduces in intensity.

Without rain there were no problems with both download/upload maxes out and no packet loss at all.

@achaudhary997 keep me noted for the next 3-4 days though. Since, I read the weather, there will be rain tomorrow.

I'm also facing somewhat (more extreme) but similar issue as your's.

One thing, did you test the speedtest.net on the multiple connection or single?

I usually test with multiple connections. Will test with both next time the problem comes back and report here.

@achaudhary997 Yeah, make sure to split test both. Since, sometimes multi would show the full-speed but the single wouldn't show (for any server).

You can select any server from the speedtest.net and it will show same/similar results. So that's why it's seriously important to split test both.

How much % is fine for you? And your ping time is super high. That's 80ms.

and packet loss is back. i guess i would get fiber installed. maybe that would help.
