does the new version with meter facility calculate the data transfered from 12.am to 11:59 pm and does auto logoff if it reached 150MB(or what we set)?eg:
i login at 1 am and download 50 MB logout out at 5 am.
i login at 7 am and download 50 MB logout out at 11am.
i login at 2 pm and download 20 MB logout out at 7 pm.
Now when I login at 10 pm again I just have 30 MB left so will the new version remember that I have already utilised 120 MB before on the same day and be smart to log me off as it approches 30 MB remaining limit of that day or will it calculate at 150 MB which is set in the program?
I hope you understand this question ....
But still I have not tried this new version pls give me this answer!!

Oh yeah I got you sifyfan. Well, I deliberately did not included such a facility because the SIFY guys can change their rule for the 150 MB thingy to anything, this amount cannot be fixed, Keep Alive will remember the data transfered until you close it, you have to remember the data transferred for each session, and accordingly set the duration for auto logoff each time you start the program. May b I will include wot u suggested in my next version if I find other members insisting on the same 🙂

U did a good job Sushubh, will it be possible to add an extra line about the Bandwidth meter that comes with the package also mentioning its use like, it shows the speed of incoming and outgoing data flow in graphical as well as text mode, it also shows the data transfer for uploads and downloads?

will do 🙂

Done, Download the latest version here http://vexat.net/misc/keepalive/Keep_Alive_SETUP.exe

Hmmmm.....well it really does not matter me a lot where its hosted bcoz even if its hosted on mine I am never worried about my transfer limit as its 500 GB 😉 If you wish u can host it on your server but I need the FTP access as I have to update the software in certain intervals 🙂Thanx 4 the offer pal 🙂

hey dude the apps gr8but theres one thing. The bandwidth meter n stats window also measure the data tranfererd on the LAN. This gives error in the calculation.N cud u add one more feature... Auto Shutdown at a fixed time and after the limit has been reached.Thx

A newer version of Keep Alive is going to launch soon. Some of the features I have added are:1. Tabbed navigation.2. Added minutes along with hour for reconnecting supersify.3. Shut down PC after logout. If you have any more suggestions for Keep Alive, please post your suggestions here. Many Thanx. 🙂
