firewall & adsl connectivity

I have Huawei smartax mt 880 adsl modem. I am trying to access the internet services through pix-501's ethernet0, but not succeeding? Pl help. The pix-501 is Cisco firewall. I am able to access internet on the inside (ethernet1) of the firewall. However, when I try to force through outside(eth0), it does not work.

More details please. What is "pix-501" ?
Do you have all the ADSL modem settings right?
