Mi Air Purifier 2

Looks like the filter should be changed every 6 months. That brings the running costs to 5k a year.

Does that seem normal to you guys?

up to 6 months. so it can go dead earlier also. the device would probably indicate when the filter would need to be replaced. and yes, it sounds fine. air purifiers need filter changes. and based on how bad the air is and how much it is used, you would need to replace them. the problem is that most stores advertise and sell only the devices. no idea how much the filters for competitive devices cost. xiaomi at least has been forthcoming with the pricing. availability to raam jaane.

i am also never getting any product from Mi.com again in my life, if it's available on Amazon/flipkart. bought cousin a phone, whose speakers developed problem on 10th day of delivery.

he called the subsequent day, and was informed that he is not eligible for replacement as they replace

only till tenth day, though technically if they had considered the time of delivery, he had few hours left for that.

they don't reply on twitter/forums either if you raise a complaint which they don't like.

so the folks who owns an air purifier already or have researched into them, can you guys guide me on which model should be worth purchasing? decent deals going on. i am considering getting one for the parent's room.

Are you using this purifier? Thinking of buying this or Smart Air Original. SAO is cheaper but not much here due to customs. I went to check it and the person says it circulates around 4 times in 150sqft room in normal usage which is low. Mi air purifier is closer to cannon (which can also hold carbon) but which is very close in price with Mi.
