@kkapoorr Are all welcome plans postpaid? When did this happen?

How/when do you plan to disconnect JIO after 31 Dec? Since welcome plans are postpaid, they can technically ask us to pay for the few days people spend to decide whether to continue or disconnect. But, good luck to them to try and enforce it though.
No , I am still under prepaid plan ! JWO is prepaid only and if you are under postpaid then you must have selected postpaid while filling the form.

I had gotten 2 sims from the jio camp at my office, both were set by the dude on postpaid plans, or at least that's what is shown in the MyJio app.

In MyJIO App I can see my Welcome Plan as Prepaid. How come some are saying its Postpaid?
After 31 Dec, I would continue to keep JIO as 2nd sim and see how their service and plans are on Prepaid. If plans are not good, I would continue on Idea 4G.

In my MyJio app, I can see postpaid. See this screenshot:

I have three sim...I am using two of them and one is (really don't know what to do with it, sleeping in my wallet)....All are prepaid VoLTE

Chill guys some are given postpaid sims while some are on postpaid. As @kkapoorr got his SIM at the camp on his office so they might have given him postpaid with the hope that they may port to their CUG plans. What does myjio show on others sim of your colleagues? @kkapoorr

All I asked have postpaid so I guess they did select postpaid for all corporate camps where sims were distributed.

The speed issues and minor bugs are there but the service has been fairly stable till date. Hope they launch a temporary plan for around a thousand bucks for say 4 GB data on their 4G network per day till FTTH is launched PAN India. I would love to continue with Jio 4G. It is better than BSNL broadband in terms of stability but the problem is that the announced plans are too expensive for regular usage.

Or they can provide Jio Link or other service PAN India with decent FUP limit. A daily FUP of a couple of GB would be fine for me. I would not mind a bit lesser FUP as that would decrease pressure on the network. Once the freeloaders are out and paid customers only remain, I doubt the quality would improve and speeds would also improve. Hope they keep some daily usage plans or they will lose all the customers they have gained in the free preview. Something around Rs.1000+/- per month with 2-4 GB daily limit or around 100 GB monthly limit would retain a lot of customers like me.

But the post FUP speed be at least 1mbps so that if you exhaust your limit at least you would be able to browse internet. The current 128kbps is pretty bad I can't even open Gmail on basic mode. Speed keeps fluctuating for me after FUP.

I dont know its coincidence or what but just after the ambani speech speed has improved significantly. I used to recieve 1-1.5 mbps now around 6 mbps. able to stream youtube videos at 1080p without buffering.
