CANCELLED BSNL DataOne service

giving a bribe to the linesman is nothing uncommon here (kolkata)... lines do fail.. i have 10 docket numbers made in 14 days to rectify a line that was loose at the jucntion box... as long as we do not demand unlimited connection, with no `if's and buts' we shall not get it... be realistic fellows... look at the way the world is moving... sigh... Pupudada

Agreed that what u say is fair but give these dudes sometime to accept that situation.They may soon give us tariffs like256 - Rs 250 - 2 Gb256 - Rs 500 - 5 Gb256 - Rs 1000 - 20 Gb256 - Rs 2000 - 50 Gb256 - Rs 3000 - Unlimited512 - Rs 250 - 0.75 Gb512 - Rs 500 - 2 Gb512 - Rs 1000 - 10 Gb512 - Rs 2000 - 20 Gb512 - Rs 5000 - Unlimited1024 (1) - Rs 250 - 0.2 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 500 - 0.75 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 1000 - 3 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 2000 - 10 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 3000 - 20 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 5000 - 50 Gb1024 (1) - Rs 10000 - UnlimitedThis is just an example not a proposal.

I am surprised to hear that u bribe in Kolkata as well. If u have docket nos then forward them to claim rebate as BSNL says they will give rebate if line is down for more than 7 days. Also they claim to make good all problems in 72 hours or was it 48. If brought to light then ur problems will be sorted. U guys dont take the right route but just give into bribe making the linesman confident he can do it often to extract that lil side money.I wish u all dint do like that. This does not happen in most places ( In India ) now ( I mean bribery ). Pls take the linesman to task by giving it in writing to the BSNl corrct department.

I think the revised tariff, if any, will be higher, because right now, the unlimited DIAS plan which is BTW 128 kbps line, is Rs.3000 p.m., no way they will give unlimited 256kbps at Rs3000.
However, 20GB at Rs.1000 might be aceptable. Although, I think downloading 50GB with 256k line is a bit tough job. One has to run the computer 24/7 to do that, and its as good as unlimited plan.

DIAS may also witness downward revision as DIAS is not there in all exchnages. Besides it wont reach most exchnages.256 - 50 Gb -is poss if one tweaks and does all that is required ( I am not a tech guy but i read in this forum somewhere and in certain sites some tools are there for it ). Even then my chart above is just an example.......we can always make it reasonable and suggest to BSNL in our email to them which we shall be doing as a campaign.

Rs 3000 for a 256k connection is too coslty for a common user. The max we can afford is Rs 750 -Rs 999. Not more than that. And DIAS was a differnet technology any ways....

See there are going to be slabs and thats ok.........each user can choose his comfort. Besides they will come down slowly for sure as competition mounts.RIL will announce big time stuff after all the new chairman has to show his might.

50gb on a 256 is quite a tall order... you may reach something near it, if you keep your computer on 24/30 you might reach somewhere near that.. ouch 😀 pupudada!

1 mbps = 30 GB per month for Rs 3000/-

I will jump at that offer hehe...[/b]

just be careful and don't hit ur head on the roof
