BSNL BBG Combo ULD 499 offer 2mbs till 2GB with 1mbps FUPed speed

here's hoping 2mbps would become the minimum speed to be called broadband in india in the near future. it is already two years late.

Checked selfcare. Ofocurse the plan doesnt come up. The customer care will have no clue & even if you visit the office they will be clueless for a couple of months..

Whatever man, BSNL has done a great job. 1 Mbps after FUP was available for minimum 1675 with tax and now same plan is available at 580 rupees. What else we need. 1 Mbps is good enough. Going to change my plan tomorrow asap offices open. Good bye JIO after trial expires.

Good move................now shout it from the rooftops.
Without publicizing the plan, what is the use?

what was the response from bsnl ! did you manage to change the plan today ?

I am keeping my BSNL broadband although I use Jio for the last three and half months. I had downgraded to their minimum 675 ULD plan although I do not use it for the time being. Now, my Jio unlimited has been extended to the 31st of December. So, can I change the plan to Combo ULD 499 instead for the time being? I do not use the BSNL line at all nowadays. And the phone is always noisy, and ADSL lights completely unstable whenever I look towards the modem/router. After that, I would probably change to a higher plan (probably 1199 ULD or if something similar arrives in the 4 Mbps speed maybe for about 1899 or so) by the end of December.

I agree about it. I have told it many times many times to the BSNL management in my city in the last two years to publicize their plans if they want new customers. Hope they spend at least 1% of the profit for advertising the plans too. They would gain huge customers as BSNL has a very negative mindset amongst the common masses which needs to be changed by new advertising. A significant portion of BSNL customers (even in my road/lane) left BSNL due to their terrible plans, terrible lines, and crappy customer services. They won't search for BSNL plans due to the negative mindset (once bitten twice shy) unless they see it in front of their eyes in the form of advertisements. Also need to mention that these plans are part of Digital India. People understand that Digital India was post-2014 initiative, and most customers left before that. So, they would see it as a new plan and service (Digital India) instead of relating to their previous experience with BSNL. If Ambani and Jio are using Digital India and Modi's photographs to promote their plans, there is no reason why BSNL which is a govt. company should not do the same. In fact, they have more

As expected not there on the portal today as well. Will have to plan a manual visit.

@mhsabir - For plan change, I had to visit local exchange even though it was present in self-care. BSNL does not accept plan change request through its self-care portal in the eastern side. Apathy!

Down south, its been a mixed response really.. I have had both success and failure with respect to plan changes via online.
