Amazon has their own VPA. I think they have something similar to what payments banks have or at least something better than PhonePe or Google Pay... I wonder if this would get them to upgrade to proper bank or something.

I'm guessing the whole platform depends on Oracle tech judging by the mention of Oracle M8 servers, they must be paying through their noses to keep it running.
 
Can someone help me file a complaint against BHIM? I lost 2860 rupees while trying to pay BSES bill and the amount was never credited back to my account. I've tried raising complaint using the complaint helpline and the web but so far no one has responded. I've even contacted the bank but even they didn't do anything yet. It seems there no way to get hold of a real person while filing a complaint against BHIM, the helpline has no option to talk to a CSE and they never reply over email either.

Edit: I registered complaint against wrong transaction id it seems, will try again now. The transaction is from 12/12/2020. Now I can't even register a complaint against that transaction id using helpline, the IVR keeps telling me it's an invalid entry.

Edit2: The toll free number has an option to talk to CSE but it's always busy.

I have a similar missing payment with mcg gurgaon. How many days have passed for you?
 
I think it's safe to say I've actually lost that money. New BSES bill generated today and it's around the usual figure, so BSES didn't receive the payment twice.
 
check with payment gateway billdesk. Many years ago I paid twice with netbanking and after few months of back and forth with bank and bses billdesk. My money was reversed.

Also raise complaint with BSES on Delhi govt portal it is sent to their head office.
 
so made a test payment of a small amount on Google Pay to see if that billing service was going to work. payment failed. but money was deducted. how long do i wait before starting pinging my bank! and google pay support?
 
Ok so money actually went through. The other bill is only 576 for this month. I had another failed payment which also went through, that was for my credit card bill. So, it's safe to assume that if the money isn't refunded within 3 days then the transaction actually went through. I'll keep using BHIM then.
