Railwire for gaming (PS4)

@piratex I will try to ask my LCO if they can give me static IP on paying per month charges. I don't wanna pay ₹2500 upfront.

@Tarang Taneja It is not the LCO that decides on the cost; so try contacting RailTel support about it. Try and see if they give you a free static IP like how the other guy got by complaining about the issue on PS4.

@piratex you mentioned "100mbit plan which has static ip option" - where do you see this information?
 
@ArunOnline Yes its not showing in any plans or in site. They informed me on support that if you have a 100mbit plan you are eligible for static ip option
 
I have the 100 mbps plan (210 GB at Rs.1949 per month + GST) - do you think I should email support and see?
 
@ArunOnline Just call your state technical support tell them about your need for static ip.

You can also raise a ticket from the portal website were you check your data usage (Choose Single Static IP option from the drop down meu)

They will call you back for confirmation & other details

Hey guys, I think we are just contacting our LCO's and state technical support offices. One of my friend in UP circle got his ports opened, one person as the link I gave in one of my previous post got static IP for free. So, I think we should atleast email the issue to the Mumbai head office of railwire, so that they may take any action for all consumers like us who are using the internet for gaming.

Got the static IP address today and finally the Type 3 issue is resolved now!

I too got my NAT type open, I contacted them via Railwire website, a ticket was created and same day they assigned my an IP dedicated for gamers and now I can play games like FIFA, Warzone and GTA which I could not play earlier

This can be requested from long back ago. 2yrs back we had an issue with game server. They assigned it for me without any additional cost. Just tell them u need for console.
