well if they change their package, users on existing packages can choose to remain on the same packages. very unlike Sify and I guess BSNL.

as for the possibilities. company can go bankrupt. airtel has been good to me for 3 years now. very unlike my experence with Sify.

from what i know every company is in this business to make money. and bsnl played a nice decent trick to get people used to free cheap broadband connectivity. albeit with poor customer support. so i guess, since you knew about today... calling BSNL bad for mistreating its customers (??) is seriously funny.

Indian broadband users do not eat grass, and no matter how much people gets used to cheap broadband offer from BSNL, no one will pay at Rs2/MB ever. May be for a couple of hundred MBs, but not more. In the end, BSNL will be the looser and not the B'Band users, if BSNL chooses to act stubborn.
