Amazon Prime India (Rs. 1499 per year now)

I have bought prime since last 15 days for 1 yr. and it's pretty useless. Amazon delivery guy always update that customer was nt available o delivery. they always lie.
 
it happens to around 30% of my orders. for example my brylcreem is now delayed by 3 days because of same excuse. but ability to order products worth 25 rupees for free is still fine by me.
 
for people who want to renew their prime membership now to get the cheaper rate... there is a way to get your current subscription cancelled and pay for a new one at 499 today. no refunds though.

I just got in touch with cc through the app(contact us- call) and told them to cancel my subscription prematurely as it made sense to renew it at a cheaper rate.They happily did so and i resubscribed at 499..Thanks for the post above
 

My Prime is expiring in Jan 2018 end, is it worth to lose 3 months, I am wondering.
