ok everything, worked fine last night 🙂The speed is really good.and if it happens again then without even asking my CTO i will write my complain to kashiana.

sify broadband s*cks man these @$$holes think that broadband means hi internet speed and f**king slow downloading speed.i wish this @$$holes never live in peace.

B4 i get online with night only pack i have to call up customer care on daily basis. The reason ? simple...it says i'm already logged on......even after i turn on my computer after hours n hours.....Speedwise?? umm..if i wont get speed then i cant imagine state of other users. And so far, users r happy with speed related issue, but feel bad about rest of the things like us.

Lucky YOU!!!!!!In the startin, kinda expected lil too much from these guys, like a reply on 2nd day.....but i guess i'm perfectly fine now.....if u get a reply good enuff reason for another blog, if u dont, just think u were blogin earlier wich u thought was a mail sent to Cust Care 😛

so u had good experiences with customer care? congrats. pray it happens in the future as well.

Kindly accept our apologies for the same and treat this experience in isolation and not reflective of the service standards we are known for[/b]

Dont they know what standards they are known for . f**kin @$$holes os sick-fy .

It is just like M$ saying that windows xp is most secure and cheapest os in world .

LOL about that XP thing but it does look nice and shiny though 😉Anyway recently I too have had good service from Sify. Perhaps they are starting to change.....

bsnl would be kicking some @$$. if they can provide what they are claiming they will provide. 😉

4DSL 2399512 KbpsUnlimited2.50 GBRs.2399Sify gives u 1 Gig in 2500 on 256kbps. how is this worse than sify?

well if u download alot even on a 400 rupees night acc then also u reach more that 4-5 gb per month on sify (excluding cost of ur electricity  ).

What I'm talking about is that MTNL has limits on the amount of data downloaded and it is imposing these limits through charging additionally for every MB downloaded after you cross your limits.

To me that's more unpalatable for a ~Rs.600 package that I use than a download limit imposed by halving your internet access speed.

True but alas it holds for the higher priced packages.

Incidentally one more area where MTNL is cheaper than Sify is that their price per MB of data downloaded after you reach your limits for the higher priced packages comes out to be about half of Sify's for such high bandwidth packages under the Data Transfer scheme, Rs. 1.10 v/s Rs. 2.50 per MB if I am not wrong.

But MTNL's prices for its low priced packages doesn't make me want to switch to MTNL yet.

Guess true broadband comes at a premium 🙂
