Anyone having fixed IP address in MTNL 256 unlimited plan in Delhi?

Guys i have just changed my broadband plan to MTNL 256 kbps unlimited from 590NU and i am getting fixed ip address.Any one of you getting the same?😕
 
If you did not pay for it,why did u get it?Its a thousand bucks a year here in Mumbai,and a pain if u wanna leech off torrents.Else someone at the exchange probably filled in the wrong thing in the wrong form and now they gonna make u pay 🙁But thats unlikely.......just reboot the modem and check
 
If u did not ask for it and it still shows in SERVICES section of your acc on Usage Check page,I suggest u bring it to the notice of the exchange that they have goofed up and get the issue resolved............Its great if your hosting a server,etc........but MOST of us here just use the bandwidth to leech.........and a fixed IP can be banned.Also no good if u DL massive amounts of data from free RS 🙂

Arre.....MTNL gives static IP for 256 kbps UL plan......no mistake from their side.....i think its written on their site
 
To bhai,looks like Mumbai and Delhi have slightly diffrent plans.I guess then Gaurav will have to slog it out with his static IP

arey yaar kal toh dynamic IP thi aaj hi change hui 256UL plan mein.:madness:And many of my friends still have dynamic ip with this 256 UL plan.😕.Only i am the exception.:madness:And you cant have static ip you have to pay few bucks to get it.
 
Check ur account usage summary the ip address allocated to u is mentioned there ...............and all ur friends might have some settings with mtnl officer 4 that dynamic ip address 😉
 
one of my friends has dynamic and other static...on the same unlimited planask them to remove it..and hope..
 
Unltd 256 K plan in Delhi has static IP only.

No mate many of my friends have dynamic IP with this 256 unlimited plan.And customer care guys are saying that you have got this static ip by mistake.🙂 I have mailed them lets see what happens.
