Idea Prepaid is Point Blank Denied by their Stores

Wanted to PORT a number under NMNP, and went to Idea store to get it ported to a prepaid number, your store denies point blank and doesn't even listen, only post-paid can be done, this is not only humiliating but also against TRAI guidelines.

I've raised concerns with customer care and lets see how it goes.....

Try to go to a company owned outlet. I migrated from Airtel to Idea a while ago and faced no issue even on a franchise store in my local market.

I am now going to migrate back to Airtel for a few months in the coming days to check out the quality of Airtel 4G LTE before deciding whether to switch to Jio when it launches publicly later this year (assumingly?).

i went to a place whick looked like company owned.
how do i recognize which one is company and which ones is franchisee or agency .

I went to one painted with idea branding inside out.

Company owned are usually much bigger in swanky malls or markets >🙂.

I guess check if idea website list them separately.

hmmm, sunday closed so will try my luck tomorrow.
