256 kbps - 400 bucks... but sify doesnt know!

there's a coloured ad in the newspaper(hindustan times front page) saying that sify introduces 256 KBPS for Rs. 400/ .....call 1600333330 for details.....and when i call them up .... they say....we do not have any updates on this.....what crap??....its on the FRONT PAGE of the newspaper and they dont know about it???.....sify sucks big time!!

Write to hindustan times and tell them to check their sources. While you're at it tell them to do an expose on Sify too 😛
 
of course they did. but they simply forgot to update the customer support guys. how convinient...
 

Probably the CS guy u spoke with, came back from his honeymoon. Probably sify is trying to create some hulchul ... or may be airtel put that ad 😛
 
There's definitely a plan offering 400 MB @ 256 kbps at Rs 400....this is to match the MTNL's TribandCheck their site out.Better wud be 1 GB @ Rs 550 @ 256 kbpsI used the latter plan for 2 months......it's absolute crap......speeds are too variableNever ever go for high speed/broadband plans on Sify
 
I have also tried sify's broadband plans they are all crapthe only plans sify is good for is the 48k unlimited plan and 128 night unlimited rest all r just for sify to make a quick buck and always take a plan for one month thats cause their terms keep changing
 
Yeah I think 48kbps plan is best.....the only prom with it is really really slow and variable uploads......u cant have a voice chat or VOIP over it
 
they are fooling innocent users who are new to internet. Those segment of customers who have recently bought computer and are unaware of internet and have just email and msn chatting as their use.
 
I agree but i still went on for 1 GB @ 256 kbps pack......had they given me 200 kbps constant ....i wud have continued with it.......sify is losing 100 rupees per month from me
