The higher ups take these things very seriously because they know customers are being lost because of the shitty service. The accounts dept may refuse the rebate, you must persist until you get it. I used to have 6 downtimes a year lasting from 10 days to 25 days, After I started doing this, my max downtime is 2 days ......... usually it gets rectified the same day.
